Fit Brain Run Program
The Fit Brain Run Program is committed to the health and well being of children and their families by promoting physical activity and healthy eating habits. Through the Run Program we strive to encourage life-long positive habits, help combat childhood obesity, encourage healthy eating, motivate and encourage parental and family involvement. Our program is non-competitive and fun for all ages and abilities. We offer a fun environment that encourages pride in accomplishment.
We offer several options through our Fit Brain Run Program- Run Club, Youth Program, and Health and Nutrition. The Run Club provides individual and group Run Coaching services. Run club members also participate in several community events including 5Ks, 10Ks, Half and Full Marathons. Kids Run the Nation is our Youth program. This program is geared towards children K-5. The core objectives of the program are to develop new cognitive, physical and social skills. The curriculum is divided into 10 modules, which can be taught over 6 weeks. Each session includes an educational instruction followed by 30 minutes or more of running activity.

Our Health and Nutrition program teaches that what we eat affects how our body moves and how we feel. We offer comprehensive workshops for children and adults. Sessions include label reading, nutrient needs, goal setting, menu planning, pantry makeovers and more. The goal is to help educate on the importance of making healthy choices that translate back to the home, school and community.

Through these programs we hope to have a positive impact on the health and wellness of families. We want to motivate and challenge everyone to do their best and inspire families to share a passion for fitness and health. We strive to inspire, educate and encourage all participants to reach their goals.
